Orientation Tours & Registration Information
If you are planning on having your birth at Center for Birth, or are considering it, you should attend an orientation tour. Use the form on this page to sign up for a tour. Once you know you would like to come to Center for Birth for your birth, please submit your registration paperwork and talk with your midwife. You must be under the care of a credentialed midwife who has privileges at the birth center, and your midwife has to submit your prenatal care chart for review by 35 weeks or so, so the sooner your register, the better. If you have any questions, please contact Center for Birth.
Birth Center Registration
You can register with the birth center at any time in your pregnancy up until 35 weeks. The earlier in your pregnancy, however, the better, so that you have plenty of time to come to one of the twice-monthly orientation and tour sessions.
You may return your registration paperwork to us via mail, email, fax, or you may upload to our secure, encrypted location here or drop off your registration paperwork when you come in for an orientation tour.
Orientation tours are held twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 5pm. We recommend checking the Facebook page for any last minute announcement of tour cancellation. We adhere to Seattle Public School closures in case of adverse weather.
If you need to schedule a tour outside of regular tour hours, please email or call the office.
Be sure to allow time for Seattle traffic and parking. Orientation and tour begins promptly at 5pm and ends by 5:30.
